Eatin’ a peanut butter and honey sandwich
With a glass of chardonnay, not the expensive kind, ya know
Bachelor man you probably guessed, been holed up in Tucson
Jobs are scarce and far in between, can’t speak Spanish,
Never took the time, lotta jobs require that it seems
Trailer spaces for rent need to show proof of a job,
and ability to pay
So, for the time being I’m car bound,
Well, I may be stuck here for a while
Standing on a corner gets me by, it helps with the wheelchair
Found by a garbage pick-up, so I picked it up
Oh, man, I used to be a man, just seemed to run into bad luck
One bad luck after another beat me down
But this here hot dog bun smeared with peanut butter
and a bit of honey, sure does taste good
