Along with putting every Monday morning, the MountainView Lady Putters are busy raising funds for education. Every year we raise funds for the Mammoth/San Manuel School District. We discuss with them what their greatest need is, and then we set that as our goal. This year they have asked us to fund the replacement of the kindergarten caps and gowns that are used for the graduation ceremony. The current ones are very worn out. These new ones will be good for several years. Hopefully, through emails, text messages, and, of course, newspaper stories to the snowbirds as well as those putters who remain here, we will meet our goal.
