“I’m not afraid of Halloween,”
said the big black crow to the coyote queen.
The coyote quietly slinked away.
She knew what would happen later that day.
Red tailed hawk flew across the sky searching for a roost way up high. Wise old owl saw a buzzard fly by,
heading to where only buzzards know why.
A mountain lion strolled across the ridge.
He found a place to hide under a bridge.
Most Arizona animals stayed home that night
because they knew Halloween was full of fright!
