On the first Sunday of every month Community Church at SaddleBrooke celebrates Blue Dot Sunday. On Blue Dot Sundays our Chairperson Keith Gordon brings the Blue Dot poster to our meeting place at the DesertView Theatre and ensures that the table for food donations has been set up.
It is such a blessing to watch the people in the congregation bring their bags and cases of food and fill the table and the surrounding floor area. At the end of the service volunteers help load the cars with all the donations. Then, on either the following Monday or Tuesday morning, volunteers deliver the donations to the Tri-Community Food Bank in Mammoth. The volunteer helps unload the donations and then assists with weighing, checking expiration dates and sorting of the donated items.
Community Church at SaddleBrooke meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. at the DesertView Theatre. We are a community of Grace and all are welcome.
