Photographer of the Month: Andrea Gray
Andrea started photographing almost 40 years ago when she took a community college course on photography. But it wasn’t until she moved to SaddleBrooke, 18 years ago, that she became completely involved in photography. After Andrea moved to SaddleBrooke she began traveling around the world. These amazing travels have given her plenty of photographic inspiration. She joined the Photography Club when it began several years ago.
Andrea has an eye for photography and looks for the story from behind her camera.
The SaddleBrooke Photography Club was treated to a spectacular photo show from her latest adventures in Japan. She is the official photographer for the MPWGA (MountainView Preserve 18 holers) and creates photo shows for their special events. Her photo shows have entertained at weddings and family reunions. Andrea and her husband have traveled to Australia/New Zealand, Peru, Spain and Portugal, Vietnam, Africa, Patagonia South America, Costa Rica, Russia, the Balkans, the Netherlands, Greece and Japan. They usually travel with Odysseys Unlimited tours.
Andrea is a visual storyteller and takes our club on many adventures with her images. Her Japan presentation in April left us begging for more. The SaddleBrooke Photography Club is honored to have Andrea as a member.
Drop in to the photo studio any Wednesday or Friday morning from 9:00 a.m.-noon in the Agate Room at SaddleBrooke TWO to see what the club can do for you.
