If you are involved in duplicate bridge in SaddleBrooke, you probably know long-time resident, bridge player and realtor, Trudie Penta. Not only is she a regular player at MountainView, she has been a director at the popular Monday SaddleBrooke One Duplicate Bridge club game for 14 years.
Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Trudie migrated to Middletown, New Jersey where she raised her family and owned a medical insurance billing company before moving to SaddleBrooke in 1990. In 1996 she began working as a realtor for Long Realty and served as president of the Long Realty Cares Foundation for five years. In 2000 she lost her husband to cancer. In 2002 she married Bob, who had lost his wife to cancer in 2000 as well. They will happily celebrate their seventeenth wedding anniversary in March. In addition to bridge, Trudie keeps busy with golf, photography, cooking and baking, fundraising and her newest hobby, playing the piano!
