We would feel the approach of show time! There was a buzz of excitement that went through our Sunday rehearsals, as the time for the December concert drew near. You could feel the energy in the room as each member of the group puts his/her heart and voice into the songs that were chosen by our director, Tanya Elias-Graf. We were confident you would enjoy the show and the delightful performances by your SaddleBrooke friends and neighbors. Boy, were we humbled by your enthusiastic response at the shows! Since early September, the Singers had rehearsed, planned their costumes and made all preparations to put on a lively holiday concert.
On December 7 and 9, at the DesertView Theatre, the SaddleBrooke Singers took everyone along on an energetic journey of holiday sights and sounds. We presented beloved holiday music made famous in television and movies. This year’s show was entitled “Holiday In Motion: Pictures, That is!” (With Forever Christmas), and featured popular selections from A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Polar Express. These are just a few of the holiday classics that the Singers recently performed. We are so glad that our assortment of holiday music was able to put a smile on your face to begin the holiday season! We would like to extend a big thank you to all those who attended the SaddleBrooke Singers December concert. It was a great pleasure to greet the audience who attend our performances. It gave us a chance to welcome all of you who support the SaddleBrooke Singers. And don’t forget, we’ll be back in the spring for another new show!
The SaddleBrooke Singers Organization is comprised of SaddleBrooke residents and has been presenting programs to the community for 25 years. We will begin rehearsing for our spring concert on January 6 so if you’d like more information about joining the SB Singers, please contact Jay Hansen at 520-271-8542.
