Golder Ranch Road is looking good after some of the members of The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke did a fall cleaning! Clothed in safety vests and cactus proof (as much as possible) clothing, members dodged cactus spines while improving the roadside. Doug May, A.T. Barr, Barbara Barr, Joe Dylewski, Rudi Faller, Jim Fry, Paul Herr, Chris Millar and Ned Selinsky spent their Saturday cleaning up the roadside from Largo Del Oro Pkwy to Oracle Rd.
Chris Millar, head of the club’s Community Service, organized the event. Chris did a great job of organizing the work and included safety vests, tools and even cold water. This is just one of the club’s many community service activities we perform.
The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke is all about making our local community and our global community a better place. Our club has ongoing projects with area schools and local community services including International projects to provide pure water and the fight to end polio. We gather as friends in Rotary to make a difference in the world, both locally and globally.
The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke is an award-winning club that is packed with energetic volunteers of all ages coming together as friends in Rotary to make a difference in the world.
