Several members of The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke found lots of fellowship and fun in filling bags! Our members gathered on a recent Saturday morning at the offices of IMPACT of Southern Arizona to pack over 200 of bags of food for the local food bank. This is just one of many ways our members enjoy warm fellowship while we make a contribution to our local area.
The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke also bands together in a number of other local area projects. On Saturday, November 10, some of our members spent their Saturday morning cleaning up Golder Ranch Road. On Monday, November 19, we’ll be assisting IMPACT and the Golder Ranch Fire District as we pass out the complete fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner. And then, of course, there are the future dates for assisting the food bank, cleaning the roads and helping to make our corner of the world a better place.
The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke is an award-winning club, packed with energetic volunteers of all ages coming together as friends in Rotary to assist area schools, our community and international philanthropies. Rotary is open to those who are retired or work in SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke Ranch and surrounding communities. If this sounds like something of interest to you, come join us for lunch on Thursday at the SaddleBrooke One Clubhouse. For more information, contact Wendy Guyton at 520-404-5712 or [email protected].
