It’s time to purchase your ticket for the popular P.E.O. Luncheon and Fashion Show, sponsored by Chapter EP. Tickets went on sale November 1 and are $30 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the SaddleBrooke TWO Administrative Offices located at 38759 S. MountainView Blvd. in the MountainView Clubhouse complex and also may be purchased online at tickets.saddlebrooketwo.com.
The 2019 Luncheon and Fashion Show will be held on Friday, February 22 in the MountainView Ballroom. The event will feature vibrant spring fashions from Fresh Produce, a shop in the Casas Adobes Plaza at 7113 N. Oracle Rd. Also featured will be purses, jewelry, accessories and eyewear from Brighton Collectibles located in the La Encantada plaza at 2905 E. Skyline Dr. A luncheon consisting of smoked sliced turkey breast, basil aioli, aged cheddar cheese wrap with a side of pasta salad will be served at 11:30 a.m. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m.
EP Chapter members appreciate community support of the event, the proceeds of which benefit the cause of education for women by providing scholarships, loans and grants for deserving women graduating from high school, enrolled in programs, or pursuing doctoral degrees. In addition, the Philanthropic Education Organization awards several international peace scholarships and supports Cottey College, a liberal arts school for women located in Nevada, Missouri.
P.E.O. chapters support the educational and charitable funds of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, but are not classified as charitable by the IRS. Therefore, donations to individual chapters do not meet the IRS requirements for a charitable income tax donation. P.E.O. shall not be liable in any way for any goods and services supplied by third-party vendors or public establishments.
