It’s easier, safer and less stressful. Ninety minutes in length and about $4 per hour, it’s also economical fun/exercise. There is a deeper commitment to your developing expertise (and joy) when learning from a dedicated year-round instructor familiar with all skill levels. If you have tried dancing elsewhere, quit out of frustration or and discouragement—why not try it again? The only ones who fail to progress with Rebecca are the few who quit. Rebecca has one abiding purpose in teaching line dance; she loves to see the joy and sense of accomplishment and joy on the faces of her students when they succeed.
The next series of classes designed for Novice begins the week of April 10. The Level 1 Beginner series will run nine weeks. Lessons are on Mondays at the HOA 2 Mesquite Fitness Center or Wednesday at SaddleBrooke Ranch. Series packages are prepaid prior to beginning class. Level One dancers can move to the quicker Level Two as they develop stamina, confidence and basic dance moves. Rebecca’s dancers also can move up and down between dance Levels as they progress through injuries, aging and other life changes.
Concurrently, we will be starting Level Two (Advanced Beginner/Easy Intermediate) class. You may also wish to reserve your summer and fall space now as classes book far in advance. These classes will occur on Mondays, Tuesdays in SaddleBrooke and Wednesday at SaddleBrooke Ranch.
Level Three (Intermediate) classes on Thursday afternoons are terrific for the most veteran dancers. A mix of cardio and more complex dances is great fun. Prior Level Two lessons are strongly advised for your transition to these lessons unless you have significant dance confidence.
Practice sessions covering Levels One, Two and Three run continuously year-round and are quick paced reviews of current series and older dances—a mini-party every time. No one has seen or remembers all the dances (Rebecca has taught about 250 in SaddleBrooke), so a brief walk-through and consistent dance step calling is provided in the package to aid your success. The goal is fun, laughter and improved mental and physical fitness for all. Calendars are emailed to students for the year-round weekly sessions.
