Wednesday, November 23
Learn to Hula! The Hawaiian Hula Group will hold this fun dance event from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. in the MountainView Fitness Center. Children age three and up and parents and grandparents are welcome to join in the dancing. All should wear comfortable clothes. Contact Glenda: 818-9525.
Jazzercise/Yoga: Join the fun in the MountainView Ballroom at 1:00 p.m. for an hour-long dance party. Jazzercise will get you moving with heart-pumping cardio and then we will slow it down to a playful, mindful yoga practice. Children, parents and grandparents are welcome. Friday, November 25
Kids can choose and paint a ceramic object. The SaddleBrooke Ceramics Club will hold this event in the HOA 2 Arts and Craft Complex Quartz Room. There will be two sessions: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for children age two to eight and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for children age nine to 14. Arrive anytime during the first 45 minutes of the session. All children must be accompanied by an adult. An old shirt is recommended to protect clothing. Contact Jean: 825-4424
A Softball Skills Clinic, including hitting, throwing and running for kids of all ages will be hosted by the SaddleBrooke Senior Softball Association at the HOA 2 Softball Field. We’ll be serving ice cream to all participants at the end of the skills camp. Pre-teens should arrive at 12:45 p.m. Teenagers should arrive at 1:45 p.m. Contact Steve: 818-7676
Saturday, November 26
Take in a wildlife exhibit from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00m p.m. at the Trailhead at Catalina State Park, hosted by the SaddleBrooke Nature Club. The exhibit includes snakes of all kinds, Gila Monsters and occasional other featured guests plus exhibits of animal skins and other hands-on educational opportunities. Contact Jerry: 744-4274
A Tennis Clinic will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the HOA 1 Tennis Center, located at the corner of SaddleBrooke Boulevard and Ridgeview Boulevard. The under 12 age group session will be one hour from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. The over 12 age group session will be one and a half hours from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Small size rackets and special balls will be provided for the little kids. The over 12 group should bring their own rackets if they have them as only a small number of demo rackets are available. All kids must wear non-marking rubber-soled shoes.
