New Novice Class

Lynne Kumza

Members of the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club are always busy keeping our minds and bodies active. No, we don’t just sit around in our rocking chairs. Here are a few activities that keep us young at heart.

Shown in the photograph are some of our newest graduates from the Novice class held recently. They were taught basic moves, phrases and line dance steps which eventually led to learning five level one dances. Some of our novice dancers continue to learn at the Novice Workshops and some have moved on to Level One Workshops and Programs. Congrats to all the graduates!

Our Sharing Steps group met at Rancho Vistoso for a Valentine Day Party. Sharing Steps is the combined line dance clubs of SaddleBrooke and Rancho Vistoso. Food, dancing and socializing added up to an evening of fun.

Another evening out was our club’s participation in the third annual Dance A Thon held at the HOA 2 MountainView Ballroom. Getting together with other dance groups from SaddleBrooke is a good way to meet fellow Brookies with a passion for dance.

Come, be active with us and live your dream of dance. For more information about our club, check out our website at sbldc.weebly.com for dance times and places, photos, videos and more or contact Terri Gage at 262-8304.
