Tina Marie Willis is a fairly new knitter. We recently held a magic loop class and she taught several ladies this technique. It is helpful to do the magic loop to take the place of double pointed needles. If this all sounds like a foreign language, trust me, it is at first! But with the help of a patient teacher, some You Tube videos and some perseverance we all finally understood this technique. It can be used for any knitting in the round so it is helpful for socks, hats and the knitted knockers that we continue to provide to one of our most favorite charities.

The Knit Wits recently celebrated a happy birthday milestone for Ruth Catalinotto. She turned 90 May 1 and we were happy to sing to her for her special day. You go girl!

Knit Wits members knit for themselves, for family and friends and for charity. It is everyone’s choice. Stop by and see what we are up to. Our meetings are every Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the HOA 1 Arts and Crafts Center, Room 4.
