Saturday, December 31 – New Year’s Eve

Harry Mathews will be rocking the clubhouse to ring in the New Year. Join us for what promises to be another memorable evening! Bring in the New Year close to home with live music and a gourmet dinner!

The evening starts with Chef’s Choice passed appetizers at 7:30 followed by plated dinner at 8:30 p.m.

Salad Course

Salad with spinach, kiwi, goat cheese and toasted pecans, served with your choice of ranch or strawberry lime balsamic dressing

Entrée Course

Slow roasted beef tenderloin with caramelized onion-gorgonzola cream sauce, bacon and chive mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus

OR

Crab stuffed sole with smoked lemon beurre blanc, Imperial Black rice and brown butter sautéed whole baby carrots

Dessert Course

Red Velvet cake with vanilla crème anglaise

Celebrate with a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight Arizona time, not midnight in New York! Cocktail attire, with black tie optional. Tickets are $75 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, and are on sale now in the Administration Office. Please be prepared to make your entree selection at time of ticket purchase. Seating will be limited to 160 in the dining room. Additional seating areas will be available in the Agave Lounge. What better way to safely celebrate a new year than with friends and neighbors at your own club!

Saturday, January 7 – Elvis is in the house!

There are some dates that always seem familiar and memorable. That is why we invite you to celebrate Elvis’s January 8 birthday the evening before. Ron Aeschliman channels the King as well as anyone, so plan to join us for a memorable evening. Chef’s menu reflects some of Elvis’s favorite things: Memphis style pork ribs, roasted ¼ chicken, gravy, collard greens, bacon and corn spoon bread, Tennessee baked beans and for dessert, an Elvis favorite of peanut butter and banana cheesecake with bacon sauce on side. Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. and Elvis is in the house at approximately 6:00 p.m. The cost for this outstanding evening is only $25 per person including tax and gratuity. Tickets go on sale December 7 at 9:00 a.m. in the clubhouse foyer.

Wednesday, January 11 – Cigar Smoker

Join a group of like-minded individuals for camaraderie and laughter. Consider joining many of your friends who have dinner first in the Agave and then meet outside by fireplace around 6:00 p.m. Bring your own cigars. Drinks of any kind will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there.

Thursday, January 19 – Barrett Jackson Car Show

The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company is well known for being the premiere classic car auction company in the United States. At the Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Show and Auction, even the most serious collector will find enticements in the form of some of the most exclusive vehicles available at auction. Featured are more than 1,100 collector and special interest automobiles from all years being auctioned off at No Reserve, as well as daily “automobilia” auctions. Over 350 vendors and exhibitors will also be on hand.

The buses will depart from the Bocce Court at 8:00 a.m. and you will leave Scottsdale at 4:00 p.m. to return to SaddleBrooke. Lunch is on your own (food available on-site). Price is $24 per person and includes only transportation and driver gratuity. It does not include admission to the car show/auction. Tickets go on sale December 14 at 9:00 a.m. in the clubhouse foyer. You can purchase your entrance tickets at http://www.barrett-jackson.com/tickets or at the box office the day of the show.

Saturday, February 25 – Motown the Musical

“A thrill ride into pop music heaven!” – Chicago Sun-Times

It began as one man’s story—became everyone’s music—and is now Broadway’s musical. Motown the Musical is the true American dream story of Motown founder Berry Gordy’s journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson and many more. Motown shattered barriers, shaped our lives and made us all move to the same beat. Featuring classic songs such as My Girl and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, experience the story behind the music in the record-breaking smash hit Motown the Musical!

Price of $94 per person includes comfortable bus transportation to Centennial Hall, driver gratuity and ticket entrance to the show. Seats are in the 200 and 400s, Rows R through X and will be assigned in order purchased for this 2:00 p.m. matinee. Tickets go on sale December 21 at 9:00 a.m. in the clubhouse foyer. Wrap up your holiday shopping with a bang! Depart from the Bocce Ball courts at 12:30 for a 2:00 p.m. show. Tickets must be purchased by February 10 to ensure this group rate.

Saturday, March 18 – Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots is Broadway’s huge-hearted, high-heeled hit! With songs by Grammy® and Tony® winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, this joyous musical celebration is about the friendships we discover and the belief that you can change the world when you change your mind. Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots takes you from a gentlemen’s shoe factory in Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price is struggling to live up to his father’s expectations and continue the family business of Price and Son. With the factory’s future hanging in the balance, help arrives in the unlikely but spectacular form of Lola, a fabulous performer in need of some sturdy new stilettos.
