Wreaths Across America

Speaker Sheron Jones

Dick Kroese

Sheron Jones spoke at SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club about Wreaths Across America. Sheron is a Gold Star Mother. Her son, Staff Sergeant Darrel D. Kasson, was killed when the hummer he was driving hit an IED. Since then his mother, Sheron, has dedicated her time helping other Gold Star Mothers that have lost a son or daughter fighting for our country. She, along with others, spend their time doing fundraisers and finding supporters to raise funds for Wreaths Across America. On December 15, 2018 they will be placing the wreaths on veterans graves at Evergreen Cemetery which is where her son is laid to rest. There are over 15,000 veterans buried there. Sheron is quick to point out that this can done in any cemetery if one so chooses to do so. The wreaths are $15 each and they need as many as possible to help support these fallen veterans. If you or any of your groups are interested, you can contact Sheron Jones at 520-390-1704 or by email [email protected].
