Visiting South Africa

Joan Elder

In early May 2018 I will be heading to South Africa with a very select group of friends. All our hotels are spectacular and meals are at outstanding restaurants! We start with a visit to Victoria Falls (when the water is at its highest!) in Zimbabwe with a scenic sunset cruise, a guided tour of this spectacular natural wonder and a special “vulture-watching lunch.”

The next stop is Cape Town where we start with a full day tour of Cape Peninsula which includes an ostrich farm! Other famous sites and restaurants are also part of this visit. A highlight will be a full day of touring in the Cape Winelands region including Paarl and Srellenbach and the Franschork Valley.

After a day of leisure for activities of individual choice, we travel to Pilanesberg National Park Game Reserve for four separate safaris. We will see the Big 5, wild dogs and over 360 species of birds! The African safari is one of the best you’ll ever find yourself on, it’s a must do before it’s too late!

Our final option is Johannesburg to see The Cradle of Humankind, the Maropeng Visitor Center, the Lesedi Cultural Village and much more.

This 14 day trip is very reasonably priced and we have room for a few more people. If you are interested, I would be happy to provide more details and email you the complete itinerary. Call me or email at 825-0190 or [email protected].
