Location: The monument will be located in the landscaped area to the east of the main entrance of the MountainView Clubhouse.

Monument Area: The area for the monument is circular with an 18 foot diameter. There will be seat walls on each side.

Monument Shape and Dimensions: The monument will be five sided, five feet high and approximately seven feet across at the base tapering to approximately five feet at the top. There will be a fire bowl at the top of the monument. The stone facing will be the same as used on the base of the columns of the clubhouse.

Fire Bowl: The fire bowl has an overall diameter of 32 inches, is nine inches high and has a rating of 60,000 BTU/HR. The plan is to have it lit while the clubhouse is open (it will be determined at a later date the precise hours the fire bowl will be lit).

Parking Spaces: The parking spaces directly across from the main entrance to the clubhouse will be rearranged to allow for direct access to the monument. There will be the same number of handicapped parking spaces as currently exist. The configuration of the spaces is both County and Federal ADA compliant.

Walkway: The walkway surrounding the monument will be aggregate concrete similar to the path leading to the patios of the clubhouse.

Gas: The gas line running next to the area will be tapped into and a meter installed to be hidden by landscaping.

Lighting: The monument will be lit on each of the five sides. There will be additional lighting at the entrance to the area as well as beneath the seat walls.

Military Emblems: The five emblems to be placed on each section of the face of the monument will be bronze with a dark background and have a diameter of 14 inches.
