Sue Case
The Variety Show will be held on March 13, 14 and 15, 2018 and we are looking for individuals and groups that would like to perform in the show. The title of the show is Variety Show 2018: SaddleBrooke on Stage and as in 2016, the format will be a true variety show rather than a play or musical. We welcome SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch singers, dancers, comedians instrumentalists and others whose talents can be showcased in the setting of the DesertView Theater.
Auditions for the 2018 Variety Show will be held in the DesertView Theater on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to noon and on Thursday, November 16 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. If you are interested and would like to schedule an audition, please contact Sue Case at [email protected], providing contact information for yourself or your group (name of individual or group, plus email address and telephone number of primary contact) as well as the type of entertainment you plan to perform. Also please note the date you would prefer to audition (either November 14 or 16), as well as whether you are unable to attend an audition on either or both of those dates. We have been informed that the DesertView Theater is covered by all three licensing agencies and that any song under license from ASCAP, BMI or SESAC can be used.
Singers and dancers: please bring professional accompaniment CD or sheet music and an accompanist to the audition. If you cannot provide an accompaniment CD or do not have an accompanist, please contact Sue Case at [email protected] or 520-825-3722, who will attempt to help you.
