The first day of November was the chili dinner to kick off the fall season in Unit 12. With 43 members in attendance, some were new members and others had just returned from their northern homes, there seemed to be a lot to discuss and talk flowed easily while enjoying a fun and delicious dinner on the back deck of the tennis courts. The weather was as good as it gets, warm with just a little breeze to make it very comfortable. Thanks to Velma and Gary who, once again, organized the dinner flawlessly.
December 1 was a treat for the ladies as we went to Arizona Inn (always great food) for our monthly luncheon. On Monday, December 11 we had our Christmas party at the Vistas Dining Room. As usual, we paired with Unit 4. The evening was a great success with dinner and dancing for everyone with entertainment by Ed Sands and the Rhythm Band Gang. Thanks to the ladies who organized the event.
