The talented Texas Tenors

The Texas Tenors are three friends with a dream.

The Texas Tenors are three friends with a dream.

Yes! America does have talent, and three of the most talented are coming to Tucson. Perhaps you may have already seen them as over 100 million people from around the world watched NBC’s America’s Got Talent in 2009 when the Texas Tenors became the highest ranking vocal group in the history of the show. They have a unique place in show business as they sing a blend of Country, Gospel, Classical and Broadway music. Their debut album Country Roots – Classical Sound is the only independent album to be number one on both the country and classical charts. Their Branson, Missouri, shows are rated a number one attraction in the region and they have toured the world bringing their quality shows to millions of people.

John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher call themselves three friends with a dream. Hagen has won numerous awards including the Metropolitan Opera Auditions Regional finalist and he received praise for his performances of Verdi Requiem and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with symphonies in the USA. Marcus Collins first learned to sing by emulating his favorite artists like Garth Brooks before studying classical repertoire in college. He has appeared on Broadway and traveling productions in musicals including the roles of Kurt and Rolf in The Sound of Music. He has worked as an actor in network television and films. JC Fisher attended Wichita State University receiving a degree in Music. After college he went to Italy and sang in the Puccini Festival directed by Lorenzo Malfatti. From a home base in Katy, Texas, he toured the world on cruise ships where he developed his own one man show. This show had many different genres of music which led to his idea of forming The Texas Tenors with his two best friends. They are proud that these three friends with a dream remain self-produced and managed with a commitment to quality family entertainment for all ages.
