Sonoran Searchers gave a donation to Oro Valley Historical Society January 12, 2016, for the Steam Pump Restoration site at Oracle and First in Oro Valley. The Questers Chapter gave a $500 check with request they use on the Steam Pump Restoration.
All members were pleased to donate to the project in our area. We can all watch the progress as we drive by the site when driving on Oracle. The members attending the presentation were given a personal tour of all the building and special stories about the house.
One of Quester’s goals is to preserve and restore historical sites. We are proud of the Oro Valley Historical Society with their work at Steam Pump. You can learn more at website OVHistory.org.
