Jim Gold’s generous gift of the Bridgemate Electronic Scoring System lets Small Slams Bridge Club offer its players many benefits. The electronic scorers simplify and speed up the collection of Bridge session results. When accompanied by the Dealer4 machine that provides pre-dealt hands with analysis, the club can provide for every game, the ranking of the players, the scorecards for each hand, the lead card for each hand and the actual hands played with analysis of potential contracts that can be made. All of this information gathered during play is posted on the website SmallSlamsBridgeClub.com every week. This not only lets players know how they did but also allows them to use the available information as a learning tool.

In honor of Jim and Judy’s gift, Small Slams Bridge Club named the annual Club Appreciation Game held every October, The Jim Gold Club Appreciation Game.

The Small Slams Bridge Club is an American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) sanctioned Bridge club that has games every Thursday at the HOA 1 Activity Center. Sign in starts at 12:30 p.m. and game begins at 1:00 p.m. The club is for players interested in improving their duplicate game. It is limited to players with 0-750 Masterpoints. Newcomers to Duplicate Bridge are welcome but must have a playing knowledge of Bridge. If you need a partner, email us two days before a game and we will try to get you one. Walk-in pairs welcome.

It is not a requirement to belong to ACBL to play.
