The 2016 golf season is winding down and we are looking forward to the beginning of a new season. We are excited to see our snowbird friends returning, tournaments beginning, cooler days (really?) and fun times!
Coyote Golf Carts has been our loyal sponsor for a number of years. Their much appreciated support has made our tournaments and special events possible. We will have an additional sponsor this season with Miracle Ear. A big thank you to both!
The Cactus Classic will be held November 1, 3 and 8. This is a flighted three day low net tournament and will be sponsored by Miracle Ear this year. It is always exciting to see who comes out on top as it seems the competition always goes right down to the wire! Good luck to all participants. If you have questions, please contact Sue Bush. We have had four aces over the last few months! Congratulations to Geri Sandilands (Catalina No. 8), Geri Conser (SaddleBrooke No. 2) and Lee Belt (Catalina No, 3) and Diana Cathey (Catalina No. 8). This brings the total of ten aces this season.
Fifteen new members have joined us this year. We have welcomed the following ladies to SBWGA: Pam Bicknell, Pam Brunelle, DeDe Crowder, Connie Jo Culley, Nancy Fuller-Wilson, Barbara Katz, Jane King, Jane Limoges, Deanna McCann, Kay McCollom, Fran Russell, Nancy Sartor, Lynn Stewart, Vernie Tupa and Bonnie Westra.
