Sometimes it’s impossible to believe how lucky we are. When we consider our many exciting tournament opportunities, luncheons and activities planned to perfection, beautiful golf courses waiting for us each Tuesday morning, new members who soon become new friends—we’re tempted to pinch ourselves to check if we’re dreaming!

Our good fortune makes us stop to count our blessings, and there are eleven of them in particular we want to recognize right now, because thanks to their generosity this wonderful experience is made all the richer.

We would like to take a moment to offer heartfelt appreciation to our friends and sponsors, Coyote Golf Cars, BRAKEmax Car Care Center, Chuy’s Mesquite Broiler, The European Travel Club, Northridge Dental, Oro Valley Eye Care, Park Avenue Jewelers, Spirit West Certified Planning, W&W Physical Therapy and Windows of Greater Tucson, and we thank sponsor Tyler Morgan, owner of First Inspection Services, for joining our meeting in February.

We held our collective breath over the past several weeks as we watched the President’s Cup brackets shift and change until at long last the results were in: Our 2018 Champion, Ann Running, went the distance against Yvonne LeCornu and pulled out her victory on the final, nail biting hole. Deb Finn won her consolation match against Sheila Clarkin, and we send congratulations to all for your great, steady play over the weeks.

Two more Aces were added to our list in February: Kerry Crowell is February’s gross Ace, and Barbara Eisenberg won her place as our newest net Ace. Nice job, ladies!

Mo Breheim is pinching herself and thanking her lucky stars for her Hole-In-One on SaddleBrooke number two on February 2. Congratulations, Mo!

The Quail Classic, our much-anticipated invitational, is in the works, and soon it will be time to invite our guests to share in our good fortune.

The three-day event, April 15, 16 and 17, is the highlight of the year, and from the Welcome Cocktail Party, (April 15), to the final awards luncheon, a rollicking good time is guaranteed for all!

Raffles, prizes, tee goodies, two rounds of golf, fantastic luncheons, camaraderie—this tournament is a win/win from start to finish, and you don’t want miss out on the exciting festivities! Check the SBWGA website or the computer room poster for more information, and get your application and entry fee in before the March 23 deadline.
