As spring slips away and the triple digit temps creep in, we SaddleBrooke Lady Niners not only say “safe travels” to our snowbirds, but we also say “thank you” to a lot of people who continue to make our program so enjoyable and such a success.
First of all, our Board keeps working diligently to make the program flow along smoothly and offer some summertime fun. From our weekly pairings, to the frequent announcements we get to keep everyone aware of events and happenings. Our tournament director makes the summer heat more enjoyable by providing events such as the Niners Unite (where we pair with our fellow Men’s Niners), as well as some special games to give us some variety and diversion from the heat.
Secondly, we’re grateful for our entire Golf Staff – the Pros are always helpful and work with us with new ideas, scheduling accommodations and come up with some really fun but wacky tournaments. The staff in our well-stocked Pro Shop (I think we have the best selection around) is always friendly and helpful and we can’t thank Mike Roddy and his staff enough for giving us such a beautiful course. At all of our Invitationals we always hear a tremendous number of comments about what great shape our course is in. The summer fix-ups may cause a little inconvenience, but the results give us a beautiful course we can be proud of!
Our Food and Beverage staff is second to none, whether it be for brunch/lunch after Tuesday play in the Grill or the excellent meals upstairs after special events and general meetings. And we are truly thankful to our sponsor, Coyote Golf, whose sponsorship makes it possible for us to offer more at our tournaments and charitable events. But the people we thank the most are our members themselves – our fellow Lady Niners who have such enthusiasm and friendship. We truly do have a great time and great camaraderie – come join us!
