You’re invited to the SkyGazers monthly meetings and star parties! All meetings are held in the SaddleBrooke One Activity Center.

Our next meeting, “Venus Unveiled” by Richard Spitzer, will be March 11, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Venus Unveiled is a look at the discoveries made about Venus from earliest historic times through the space race and current observations. Spitzer is a retired science/computer teacher who taught high school astronomy.

Star Parties are held at the SaddleBrooke Softball Field.

February 13, Tuesday 7:00-9:00 p.m., Beehive star cluster, Orion Nebula, Andromeda Galaxy, Double Star Cluster

March 19 Monday 7:15-9:15 p.m., Moon, Mercury and Venus, Moon, Pinwheel Galaxy, double star Castor, Crab Nebula

April 11, Wednesday 6:50-7:30 p.m., No moon, Venus, Bode’s Galaxy

May 17, Thursday 7:16–8:00 p.m., three days old Jupiter, Great Globular Cluster in Hercules

June 12, Tuesday 7:31–8:00 p.m., No moon Jupiter, Ring Nebula
