We are board, but NOT bored. On a Beautiful Day, we’re Better When We’re Dancing because there is a lot of Action. Our Busy Feet love doing a Crazy Foot Mambo after we Flip On The Lights and invite everyone to Come Dance With Me. We are always ready to Give It A Go with Little Rumba and Tango Pierre except there are also A Few Boys Around Here. So don’t Cry To Me because we are Looking Good!

Now, may we present the 2017 Board Members of the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club?

First we introduce our new President Judy Saks. She has been line dancing and a member for nine years with no prior dance experience. She came to SaddleBrooke from Horsham, Pennsylvania over 11 years ago. Before retiring, Judy’s occupation was in the medical field. Previously, she has been our vice president, treasurer, dance leader and program session leader.

The new vice president position is being filled by Shirley Miller who has been a club member for six years. Shirley comes to us from Annapolis, Maryland and in her former life she was a kindergarten teacher. She has held many positions in our club, such as treasurer, secretary and four different committees within the club.

Diana Carbone is our new secretary and has been line dancing for over five years. She is from the Big Apple where she took modern dance classes in college. She has bravely stepped up to lead dances and has just been in the club for one and a half years. She was an educator for 32 years and also developed curriculum for improved student performance.

Terri Gage continues as treasurer for one more year. She has been line dancing and a member of our club for five years with no prior dance experience. Her former residence six years ago was the Windy City. She has filled many positions within the club; leading and teaching dances, treasurer, vice president and president.

Lynne Kumza is filling the position of Member At Large for one more year. One of her jobs is to write the articles that appear in the two SaddleBrooke newspapers. She has been line dancing for seven years and has a dance history that dates back to when she was three years old. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is called home. Her former occupations were secretary, activities aide in nursing homes and she owned her own personal care business. She has been a dance leader and teacher and chairperson of the Social Committee for the past three years.

All members are from different locations with varied backgrounds and different level of dance experience. Come join the fun as we dance together and become fast friends. For more information about our club, check out our website at sbldc.weebly.com or contact Terri Gage at 262-8304.
