SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club

Lynne Kumza

It was indeed a joyous celebration! The SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club held their annual holiday party in the Vermilion Room of SaddleBrooke One Clubhouse. The Christmas and Hanukkah decorations added to the excitement of the party. We are blessed this time of the year to be able to celebrate in such beautiful surroundings of seasonal lights, the majestic mountains, warm climate, scent of peppermint and pine, the sound of holiday music and the friendships made throughout the year.

Our time of merrymaking began with dancing to the tunes of the season. Santa slippers polished the floor and reindeer antlers beamed to the spirit lifting music. It was time to indulge in the deliciously prepared feast served by the always talented and friendly staff of SaddleBrooke One. We would like to thank the chef and all the hardworking staff for making our celebration such a joy. Our meal included our choice of skirt steak or Frenched chicken breast along with veggies, side salad and a light dessert.

We were entertained by a small group of very talented SaddleBrooke cloggers called the Desert Stars. In between dances and quick changing of costumes, we learned some history and other interesting facts and tid-bits about this cheerful and friendly troupe. Applause, applause, applause ladies. You brought the house down.

It was time for our gift exchange and then back to the dance floor for a short time before heading home.

There are many ways to say it, but our club hopes that all of SaddleBrooke had a Joyeux Noel, a Frohe Weihnachten, a Feliz Navidad, a Mele Kalikimaka, a Buon Natale and a happy Hanukkah! A happy, healthy and blessed New Year to all!
