The spirit of volunteerism is part of the fabric of SaddleBrooke, and the Health Fair is one of the largest, volunteer-driven events in our community. Recruiting, training and organizing over 100 volunteers to staff the fair is a big job. Sally Sample retired this year after eight years as Volunteer Coordinator. The Health Fair Planning Committee welcomes Dave Mersey to fill this critical function.
Health Fair 2018 will be Saturday morning, October 13. Details on exhibitors will be available later this year. Expect to see the immunization providers, skin cancer screening, eye exams and more.
Volunteers are the heartbeat of the fair. All volunteers are scheduled for 90 minutes, so they have time to attend the fair themselves. If you are willing to help for a 90-minute shift, please e-mail [email protected].
