The SaddleBrooke Fine Arts Guild, in partnership with the University of Arizona Museum of Art, will present a series of two lectures in September and October, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the West Ballroom of the MountainView Clubhouse. The first lecture will be presented on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, and the subject will be The Art of Western Expansion. We will explore the beauty and romance of the American West through the work of artists who told the stories of Native Americans, homesteaders and cowboys. Artists featured in this presentation are Thomas Moran, Albert Bierstadt, Thomas Hart Benton, Olaf Wieghorst and Frederic Remington, Alexandre Hogue and many more. The presenter will be docent Tammy Bearden.

The second lecture will be presented on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., also in the West Ballroom of the MountainView Clubhouse. The subject will be Creatures in Art and the presenter will be Brack Brown.

Please mark your calendars and plan to come early for coffee. As always, the lectures are free and are in the West Ballroom of the MountainView Clubhouse. We look forward to seeing you.
