SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club

Wanda Ross

Even though the snowbirds are gone, SaddleBrooke’s ballroom dancers continue dancing through the summer. On August 2, we enjoyed a dinner and dance at SaddleBrooke One. After dinner in the Vistas Dining Room, we danced in the attached Vermilion Room to music provided by our DJs Kaye and Rick Baumgartner. What fun we had.

The SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club holds a dinner and dance every month on the first Thursday. It coincides with Burger Night so burgers are popular but we choose from the menu. We usually dance for about two hours.

Membership in the SaddleBrooke Ballroom Dance Club is open to residents of SaddleBrooke One and SaddleBrooke TWO and costs only $10 per year. The membership includes free dance lessons from October through May plus dance practice sessions with a DJ two days a week. What a deal!

If you have danced before and want to get back into dancing, or you haven’t danced but would like to give it a try, we welcome you. Those with partners are welcome but so are singles. We are a friendly group who want to get everyone out on the dance floor. For more information, check out the website at www.sbballroomdance.com.
