Live theatre in SaddleBrooke continues to get enthusiastic support with huge audiences and donations. As a fundraiser, raffle tickets for two beautiful framed paintings by Eve Fly of Walls of Wonder created for Community Circle Players’ dinner theatre production The Mafioso Murders were sold before each performance. Raffle proceeds in 2018 were $1,132 with about 60 tickets purchased.

SaddleBrooke residents Eve and Stan Fly have been transforming ordinary walls into works of art throughout Tucson for 12 years. They donated their services to create the two pieces for the sets of The Mafioso Murders just as they kindly did last year for the mystery Eat, Drink, and Be Deadly! The 2017 raffle enabled the troupe to purchase additional sound and lighting equipment.

During the final show, CCP Producer Shawne Cryderman announced this year’s lucky raffle winners. Nancy Teeter and her husband Rick who both love wine and have other wine niches in their home were delighted to have won. “We are thrilled! It looks great in our living room!” New to SaddleBrooke, Tom and Marge Ransick won Eve’s painting of the Tuscan hillside and loved the production.

The volunteer ticket salespeople were Don and Arlene Guillette, Muriel Pilster, Sharon Anderson, Connie Byrd, Marilyn Moisio, Linda Cutting and Pat Andrea.
