Beloved residents Pastor Palmer and Lois Ruschke have left our community. After nine years of living the good life in SaddleBrooke, they have moved to Beatitudes, a continuing care retirement community in Phoenix. There they have services they can use as they continue to age and are close to a daughter who lives nearby.

Pastor Palmer was a key player in bringing Resurrection Church to SaddleBrooke. Ordained 60 years ago this year, he served for several months as one of the church’s active pastors; however, well over a year ago he officially retired from preaching but continued to be a friend and source of strength to those who crossed his path. He and Lois are both natives of Minnesota. They met in college, have been married for 62 years and have three living children.

On Sunday, October 23 the Ruschkes were greeted and honored by their Resurrection Church friends at an informal gathering between the 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. services. Over 100 were there to wish them well and thank them for making our community a better place to live.

Resurrection Church at SaddleBrooke holds its traditional all-denominational Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. in the Vermilion Room of the HOA 1 Clubhouse. All are welcome.
