It’s not how long you live; it’s how well you live!

Jeanne Ragan

I think we all want to live better lives, with health, meaning and love – dying young, as old as possible!

We can achieve this by: Choosing whole-foods, plant-based way of eating; Practicing stress management – doing yoga, tai chi, and meditation; enjoying moderate exercise; maintaining social support

In other words, eat well, stress less, move more and love abundantly.

“But, I can’t control my genetic makeup,” you say. Wrong! If you think that you can’t control “bad genes,” think again. Changing your lifestyle actually changes how your genes work – turning on genes that keep you healthy and turning off genes that promote disease. Diet and lifestyle changes may even begin to reverse aging at a cellular level by lengthening telomeres, the ends of chromosomes that regulate aging.

Think of whatever it is that’s important to you. Don’t wake up one day and wonder what happened to your life!
