Community Church of SaddleBrooke announces the Robert Fries Scholarship program for eligible employees of the two SaddleBrooke Homeowner Associations.
The program is funded by a gift from the Fries Family Trust and administered by Community Church in cooperation with HOA 1 and HOA 2. It is anticipated that yearly awards will approximate $10,000.
Association employees with a year of satisfactory service and demonstrated financial need who are accepted at an accredited institution of higher learning or trade school are eligible to apply.
Total awards per student employee may be granted up to $5,000 per associate degree or trade certificate and $10,000 per bachelor degree.
Robert (Bob) Fries, a SaddleBrooke resident for twenty years passed away in 2013. He had a keen interest in the employees of the clubs which he frequented regularly and would be pleased to make a difference in the lives of these hardworking young people.
