It was a cold, wet morning on February 14 when 38 members from MountainView/Preserve Lady Niners (MPLN) traveled to SaddleBrooke One to participate in the fun filled Across the Brooke event with players from the SaddleBrooke Niners.
The adverse weather actually increased the enjoyment of playing nine holes of golf with fellow Niners who are also our neighbors. The event concluded with a delicious lunch and presentation of gift cards to the winners.
The nine-hole event took place on the Tucson and SaddleBrooke courses. The winning team on the Tucson course was Janice Best, Diane Mazzarella, Christine Smith and Laura Benson and the winning team on the SaddleBrooke course was Hedy Gryszan, Nancy Claffey, Judie Knapp and Barbara Brown. Congratulations to all of the winners.
The next major event for MPLN will be the Quail Creek Outing on March 16, 2017.
