The MountainView Lady Niners welcomed 14 new members to the Women’s Golf Association this winter. The orientation that was given by Rita Smith, membership chair, included rules and procedures. The “Partner for Par” who is a veteran niner, was paired with the new member for two rounds of league golf, and helped facilitate introduction to fellow Niners and to SaddleBrooke golf in general. Niners that have acted as a “Partner for Par” include: Karen Koch, Maureen Borland, Gerry Burnside, Becky Fisher, Karyle Steele, Linda Allison, Beth Effenberger, Nancy Claffey, Susan Elliott, Louise Bidwell, Mary Riemersma, Joyce Sutay, Pam Brown, Rita Smith and Phyllis Cadden.
