According to Wikipedia: “A snowbird is a North American term describing a person who moves from higher latitudes and colder climates of the northern U.S. and Canada and migrates southward in winter to warmer locales.” The term has been around for nearly 100 years. We give a warm welcome to the early birds of 2017-18 and the MountainView/Preserve Lady Niners Golf League. We are looking forward to many planned events such as Bring a friend, The President’s Cup Tournament and Holly Jolly as the rest of the flock return this winter.

Let’s have loads of fun and fabulous golfing weather.

Some of the early snowbirds are pictured above.
