The MLO’s refreshments, treats, toiletries, space and entertainment are provided at no charge for traveling members and their dependents by the following hometown heroes: American Legion Post No. 36; American Red Cross; AMVETS Post No. 770 Color Guard; Anonymous Donors; Arizona Air National Guard 162nd Wing; City of Tucson Veterans Affairs Committee; Daughters of the American Revolution, Casa Grande chapter; Friends of the MLO, an Ad Hoc Committee of the SaddleBrooke Fine Arts Guild; Home Depot, Oro Valley; OTG Management; Paradies/Desert House News and Gifts (via passenger donations at airport gift shops’ collection bins); Sam Levitz Furniture; The Media Advantage; Tucson Airport Authority; Tucson Troop Support Group and USO Arizona.

The MLO is located on the baggage level of the Tucson Airport. It is staffed by volunteers, including several SaddleBrooke residents. For information on how to become a volunteer please contact Ground Transportation and Terminal Properties Coordinator Dee Brunner, Tucson Airport Authority, at 520-573-8374. It is easy to become a volunteer and you even make your own schedule.
