Local travel agent presents unique fundraiser

Patti R. Albaugh

Rotarians love to travel, and members of the SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club learned how they can partake in a European adventure and contribute to the SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Foundation at the same time. The Foundation donates to local causes such as Tri-Community Food Bank and Triangle Y Ranch.

Brian Mundy presented an 11-day European Travel Club tour starting June 15, 2018 and highlighting Europe’s “Hidden Gems” – Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro. The fully escorted program features Ljubljana (Slovenia’s charming capital), the Postojna Caves (second largest in the world), the idyllic lakes of Bled and Bohinj, the Julian Alps, the Plitvice Lakes National Park (the loveliest in Croatia), the fishing village of Cavtat, Dubrovnik (arguably the most perfectly preserved medieval walled city in Europe), Montenegro (Europe’s newest nation), some amazing folklore and much more…three hand-picked hotels, many meals and spectacular scenery. For each reservation, Brian will make a donation to the SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Foundation.

Yes, escape the heat in SaddleBrooke in June! Brian showed breathtaking photos of the places participants will see. There were many oohs and ahs from the audience. And the adventure will be guaranteed with just six guests! For more information, contact Brian at [email protected].

SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club is proud of all our members, who make contributions of time and money to assist those within our community and over the world. Won’t you join us in making a difference? We meet weekly at the MountainView Country Club. Please contact Ron Lenz, membership chair, at 262-358-0130.
