Living Robson Senior Living Facility coming to SaddleBrooke

Robson Communities, Inc. and its affiliates, long recognized for their award-winning master planned Robson Resort Communities for active adults and, more recently, for their senior independent and assisted living Robson Senior Living Communities, plan to expand their offerings with a new Robson Senior Living Community north of Tucson.

The new community will include independent, assisted living and memory care accommodations. The location of this facility will be at the entrance to Robson’s SaddleBrooke active adult community at the corner of Hwy 77/Oracle Road and SaddleBrooke Blvd. Medical offices, retail and a restaurant will likely occupy the remaining commercial space, according to James Robson, the Vice President of Senior Living at Robson Communities, Inc.

“This four-story Robson Senior Living Community will be beautiful, offering spectacular views of the Catalina Mountains and magnificent views of untouched desert and wash areas”, said Robson.

Plans for this luxurious senior living development include approximately 250 one, two and three-bedroom units with independent, assisted and memory care options available. Amenities are expected to include a resort-style pool, fitness center, movie theater, salon, community garden and multiple dining options. In addition, a wide range of services are planned including housekeeping, transportation and extensive activities. Construction is projected to begin spring 2019.

In 1972, Edward J. Robson, Founder and Chairman of Robson Communities, Inc., began his legacy of creating exceptional master planned Robson Resort Communities for active adults. Today, more than 50,000 people call a Robson Resort Community home.

SaddleBrooke, the first Robson Resort Community located in the Tucson area, was established in 1987 and is now home to approximately 10,000 residents. Due to the success and popularity of SaddleBrooke, another Robson Resort Community, SaddleBrooke Ranch, opened nearby in 2007. Development and sales continue in SaddleBrooke, The Preserve at SaddleBrooke and in SaddleBrooke Ranch as well as in Robson Ranch in the Casa Grande area, PebbleCreek in metro Phoenix and in Robson Ranch Texas in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

The other two Robson Senior Living Communities, Renaissance in Sun Lakes and Robson Reserve at PebbleCreek, which is currently under construction, are located adjacent to Robson Resort Communities. Accolades have already been bestowed on Robson Senior Living division with “Renaissance by Robson” named as “Community of the Year” by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) which includes the Essex Homes Greenville/Spartanburg company.

“As a leader in active adult and senior living, the Robson team is excited to bring our success, knowledge and expertise to this new venture. Our research shows a true need for this type of senior community and we are looking forward to bringing our forward-thinking approach to the Tucson area,” said James Robson.

More details on the community are expected to be released in coming months.
