Line Dance Club novice lessons

Lynne Kumza

Want to learn to line dance but afraid to try? Or perhaps you learned line dancing some time ago and your boots have gotten rusty? Winter is approaching and the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club is offering an easy way to learn the basics of line dancing in four simple sessions:

Dates: Four Fridays: January 20 and 27, February 3 and 10

Time: 10:45 a.m. to noon

Place: HOA 1 Vermilion Room

No prior dance experience is required. No partner is required. Experienced SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club instructors will teach you the basics of line dancing with an emphasis on fun. We believe in “doing not viewing” and we promise to give you happy feet and a smile on your face!

At each session you will learn the steps, the patterns and master a variety of fun and popular line dances. The best part—the lessons are free. All we ask is that you join the club for just $10 a year. The membership includes not only your lessons, but entitles you to attend all of the club’s weekly practices, workshops, socials, luncheons and parties. If you miss a lesson or two, don’t worry, you can catch up at our Tuesday Level 1 workshops where you can enjoy yourself with other beginners.

Please check out the variety of our activities, events and photos on our website: sbldc.weebly.com. Class size is limited to 18, so make your reservations early. You must be enrolled prior to the start of the first class. No walk-ins, please. To enroll in the above lessons, please contact Terri Gage at [email protected]. See you on the dance floor!
