On Monday, June 11, MountainView Lady Putters presented their annual charity donation to IMPACT of Southern Arizona. Barbara McClure, Executive Director of IMPACT, accepted the $400 donation.
MVLP members were told the money will be used to provide prescription eye glasses to children in need, specifically for children in the “Copper Corridor” directly north of SaddleBrooke. Barbara also said that IMPACT has partnered with the Lions Club to purchase special eye testing equipment which will read the child’s eyes and print out a prescription as well as give information about astigmatism and other eye abnormalities. MVLP is pleased to be a part of this important work which will help children to succeed.
