The Knit Wits celebrated the season at their annual holiday luncheon on December 16. Lots of delicious food was shared while Ron Aeschliman entertained. A big thank you goes to our social committee, headed by Helen Nack, for organizing this event. Toys for Tots were collected and the toys, along with leftovers, were donated to the fire department. We had a fun trivia game and a raffle where everyone was a winner.
Our first official meeting of the 2016 year will be January 6 and we continue to meet at HOA1 Activity Center in rooms No. 3 and No. 4 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Our new Co-Presidents will be Linda Hood and Bobbi Forsch. They have been busy getting ready for an exciting new year. As usual, our first Wednesday of the month will be for show and tell followed by knitting or crocheting and socializing. Everyone loves to share their finished projects with the group. Come join us and join the fun. Thanks for all the hard work Glena Webster and JoAnn Ciaciuch, our Co-Presidents for 2015, have done, along with their board members. All in all we have had a very successful and interesting year. The dedication of all the members of Knit Wits makes us who we are, a great bunch of women to spend time with. Come see for yourself.
