The Knit Wits recently got their hands on fingerless gloves. Tina Marie Willis taught this class. Also on the schedule this fall are classes on mini-gift ornaments and crocheted designs. We will also do a class on utilizing the knitters’ website called Ravelry. Class participation is optional but many members seem to enjoy learning something new.

It will be a busy end of the year as the Knit Wits plan a potluck lunch at one member’s home, as well as the big holiday party. We continue to knit and crochet items for ourselves and for our loved ones as well as for various charities. Items for those in need may include knitted knockers, kids’ hats, baby blankets and hats, lap robes and other necessities.

If you are interested in checking out the Knit Wits, you can find us at the HOA 1 Arts and Crafts Center, Room No. 4, every Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. We are friendly and look forward to meeting you!
