Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge No. 2815 invites all Marines to celebrate its 240th birthday at the Lodge located at 16045 N. Oracle Road in Catalina on November 10 at 4:00 p.m. Elk membership is not required.
The Second Continental Congress established the Continental Marines on November 10, 1775. The United States Marine Corp celebrates its birthday with a traditional ball and cake-cutting ceremony every year.
