John Miller and Community Church

Dick Kroese

Community Church at SaddleBrooke (CCSB) was privileged to have Dr. John Miller speak to us once again this summer.

A frequent Bible teacher at CCSB, John gave a message on 9/11 called Securing the Borders of our Heart. On that fateful Tuesday morning 15 years ago our nation suffered an unforgettable horrific attack. Homeland Security has been vigilant ever since. Dr. Miller discussed our need to guard our hearts against the real threats that threaten our inner being.

He went to California State University at Long Beach primarily to play baseball. Having made the choice to turn down a professional contract with the Minnesota Twins, John went on to attend Talbot School of Theology and became a youth pastor of churches in southern California and Tucson.

After 35 years as Lead Pastor of Northwest Bible Church in Tucson, John stepped down to pursue a new challenge in life. Along with his wife Carol, he is now a Pastoral Consultant with Centers of Church Based Training. If you would like to know more about John’s ministry, please go to ccbt.org or email [email protected].

Community Church at SaddleBrooke meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the SaddleBrooke DesertView Theater. We are an all denominational Christian Church and all are welcome.
