The December Shabbat service will be held in the Ballroom West (at MountainView) on December 15 at 7:00 p.m.-–not our usual fourth Friday due to holidays. Preceding the service is an optional dinner at 5:00 p.m. in the Bistro at MountainView Clubhouse. Please call Ellie Adleman at 818-3064 or email to [email protected] to make reservations.

Following the Shabbat service is an Oneg sponsored by Elise Fischler in memory of her late husband, Daniel Fischler, one of the founders of the SaddleBrooke IJSS. We hope to see all at this service.

Just a reminder that Rabbi Seltzer’s 2018 classes are scheduled for three consecutive Thursdays – January 25, February 1 and 8 – also in the West Ballroom. The classes are open to all SaddleBrooke residents and the topic is The Problem of Evil in Jewish Thought and Belief from Natural Catastrophe to 9/11. Classes begin at 7:00 p.m.

Future Shabbat services and dinners are January 19, February 23, March 23 and April 27. Hope you put those dates on your calendars!

If you have any questions please contact Sam Horowitz at 466-6994 or [email protected] or Joan Elder at 825-0190 or [email protected]. See you at our services!
