Genealogy Club to Hold Special Educational Seminar

The SaddleBrooke Genealogy Club is planning to hold a special educational seminar on Thursday, March 12th at the MountainView Clubhouse Ballroom. The seminar will run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and include a buffet lunch and door prizes. The cost is $35 for the day.

Club memberships is not required. Topics that will be presented include two different DNA sessions: “Demystifying DNA” and “You Got Your DNA Results; Now What!” There are also sessions on “Building a Family Story through the Census” and “Using Family Tree Maker,” both beginner and intermediate.

The SaddleBrooke Genealogy Club has meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 1 p.m. in the Coyote Room of the SaddleBrooke One Clubhouse. Non-members are invited to attend a couple of meetings as guests before deciding to join.
